The comment about loose exhaust would make it rich because the 02 sensor would read lean and add fuel.

Kind of looked like oil to me but it's hard to tell.

Kinda looks like oil to me also. Valve guide maybe.

Here's the caveat to your plan.
You have a running issue. You don't know if it simply a tuning issue or something in the system causing the condition.
By purchasing an "autotune" system you will not diagnose your issue, rather the autotune will attempt to correct fueling even if there is something wrong causing the issue. In other words, autotune will be nothing more than a bandaid to get around an engine management issue.

Upside to a proper dyno tune...identifying and diagnosing running issues before tuning will prevent bandaiding so the tune will go as expected.
Downside to a dyno tune...gotta get there.
