Hey guys. Started I'm bike this morning last time I run it was last week. It started up fine. I let it idle for 5 minutes my girlfriend sat on the back and it shut off. Hasn't started since. The check engine and red lights on. All head and tail and blinkers work fine. Sometimes it will try to turn over other times absolutely nothing when I hit the start button. Any thoughts? Thanks

 

It's 2014 48 with 5300 miles on it.

 

When the check engine light comes on it means the bike threw a code, so check for them.
See if your battery and ground cables are clean and snug. If they are good, then charge up the battery and see if that helps. And if that still doesn't work, take out the battery and get it load tested. My guess is your battery is shot.

I have a Vance and Hines fuel pack. No codes came up.

 

Eric, make sure the emergency shut off switch isn't tripped off, make sure you are in neutral and the jiffy stand is up and clutch pulled in. As stated, clean and check all ends of battery cables.

Run/Stop kill switch, Right hand grip button next to start button.
