Default New Road Glide, a couple tuning questions before I begin

Just picked up a leftover 2016 Road Glide Special. Probably going to buy the FuelMoto package of their E series 2:1 pipe and a Power Vision for a grand. I already have a PV for my LRS, but the deal from FM amounts to a net cost of $200 for the PV, which is the same cost of a new PV license, so what the hell.

I am probably going to wait a few weeks before I drop the grand on the pipes and PV, as handlebars are a more immediate need.

Anyway, on to the questions. I have a Ventilator AC i modified to vent externally that I want to install on the RG. I know its always said that you can do the AC or the pipes, but not both w/o a tune. So if I toss on the AC, leaving the factory pipes alone, i should be ok without a tune, right?

Next, what if I decided to leave the factory head pipes on for a while and just install slip ons. Is it wrong to put a dynojet stock improved tune on a bike with a cat? i.e. will the lowered AFR cause the cat to burn up?

Thanks.

You can change the AC and mufflers without a tune, have friends that do it this way with no problems. Me I change everything AC, mufflers, and header pipes, I use a power commander 5 with a dyno tune. I know there are some good tuners out there that are very good, for me I like to take it to a dyno tuner I get a read out and I know its right.

Ok, I was only thinking of putting that a/c on until I got the pipes and PV. But as to the other part of the question, any thoughts on if it's ok to put a tune on an otherwise stock motor with a cat?

I did and now my bike runs even better. You can feel the difference with just a K&N air filter, mufflers and a stock tune with the FP3.
