Can two bikes use the same Security Fob?
I have 2 2016's both with security. I always carry my keys and fobs on my keyring, so as of now I have two of the ridiculously big HD fobs on my keys. Ideally I'd like to have both bikes programmed to use the same fobs.
I understand the logistics of it - if i sell a bike the other will need to be changed, but thats not happening any time soon so the convenience will out weigh the inconvenience of having to change it years down the road.
Anyone know if that can be done?

its not not like a car fob that you arm/disarm. It's a proximity system. Meaning the fob has to be near the bike for it to start. Yes, if they are parked next to each other, they both could be started, but once I ride away, the other bike can't be started cause the fob is in my pocket and out of range. So shouldn't be any issue.

Two bikes one key fob
Did you have a Harley dealer do this? my dealer just said they can't. But I got a feeling they just want me to buy another key fob

You put the serial number into the BCM and then it looks for that serial numbered fob. It has no idea how many other BCM's the FOB is married to.
