Help, dog chewed O2 sensor!
Hello, so I own a 2015 sportster 72 and recently noticed after starting it my check engine light stayed on..Went to roll her out of the garage and throttle sounder funny. So after getting off I noticed my dog had decided to chew the hell out of my O2 sensor connector down by the clutch!!!! My question is how can I fix this without take her to the dealership?? I have a Vance and Hines fuel pack with short shot pipes on..I rode her up to Harley and the guy there said see how it runs, but I know if they fix it I'm dipping deep in my pocket..Could these connectors be bought online? I know I can get a new sensor but what about the side that runs up to the cpu? Any help will do...

Lmao that's awesome. Anyway, you can either hardwite the sensor, or you might be able to buy a new connector and just replace it and the o2 sensor. If the terminals are still intact, I would depin the connector and just replace the connector. That way the factory wiring hasn't been altered. But that's an ocd thing I guess

Lol, dog is on probation! I tried to re-wire them myself based on what the repair manual said, but the light is still on and I can tell it's still not running right. Plus the Vance and Hines fuel pack is still giving me codes...I'm going to see if HD can just order me the connections and I can replace them myself...

Looks like you can get a new sensor plug, part numbers 19,20, 21 on this drawing if I am reading it right. You can then splice it back in.
