Default O-Ring size...fuel check valve.

Does anyone have the exact size or #s of the two o-rings that fit inside the fuel tank check valve. I have an 02 Road King.
Please!
Thank you!!!!

I assume you are asking about the Quick-Connect?

This has been asked many times before … I have not found a definitive answer.

Some say the larger one is 10mm x 14mm x 2mm ,
some that it has an inside diameter is .414", outside diameter is .558" and thickness is .072".
Some say John Deere part # R26286 will replace it.
Never found anything referencing size on the smaller one.

The larger one (lower one if looking at it mounted on bike) just recently started leaking profusely on my bike.
Needed the bike running, HD does not offer them, aftermarket’s were back ordered, so I did as others suggested and just used an oil plug o-ring.

Seems to be working, but ordered new ones because I do not know if the oil o-ring will hold up to the ethanol in the gas.

If you need both why not go with something like this:

I have not found a definite answer either. I searched for hours and did come up with a size like you posted for one of the two orings. Pretty ridiculous that these o ring sizes are so hard to find. Good to know about the kit at JP cycles.
Thank you very much for your info!!!!!!!

Fuel tool has a tool developed which you can relocate the upper and lower o ring. It works, but you need to get the hang of it. I used it when my check valve was leaking.

It takes patience and a steady hand, plus a light. Easiest way is with the valve unscrewed out from the bottom of the tank so you can pull the hose out and look down in it, but putting an o ring in it looking up into it with a mirror is a task. I broke the ends off of two toothpicks and used them kinda like chopsticks and pushed the o ring in the valve.....may the force be with you!!!!

I don't know the sizes but my *** has been saved a few times with the Harbor Freight box of assorted O-rings. It's great for under $10.

Best in the long run to just order the proper o rings that are for fuel. I bought a few assorted o rings at home depot ect and there is one o ring in that fuel valve that is an oddball size and hard to find.
