Without being able to set the VE tables you are wasting your time. Everything hinges on the 02 sensors reading the free 02 to give you VE table adjustments. Think of the VE table as being the heart of your tune. Any other "real" adjustment is moot regardless if you are in open or closed loop.

Hello, I am a long time reader and appreciate all of the advise on this thread. I have been using TTS on my 2013 CVO Road King since May 2014. I have the Fullsac headpipe, 2.0 Power Cores, Andrews 54 Cam, .030 cometic head gasket and some minor porting on the heads. Additionally, the heads were shaved .030. It has been nearly a year since I have worked with tuning on the bike and thought I had it dialed in fairly well. I finally found the time to try to get the most out of the TTS with the recent upgrades to the software. I noticed in the 2014-2015 Calibrations # EWI617-05 is the exact same build as my bike minus the minor headwork. Is it possible to use this calibration as a starting point? If not, can it be modified to work? I know that many hours of dyno-tuning is conducted to perfect these calibrations. I can't find anything this close in the 2013 calibrations. I tried calibration # EAD009-01 and I am not pleased with it. Any advice that anyone may have will be greatly appreciated.

Regardless if you use a library calibration or a borrowed one you will need to follow all steps in the TTS tuning procedure to check your motor against the calibration.

No two bikes are the same. There can't be a calibration that fits all only a starting point.

Take your time and follow each step of the tuning guide for the best results.

Acknowledge that the steps in the TTS tuning guide must be followed. I'm looking for a .MT9 file that is close to my setup as a starting point and go from there.

I used the TTS Flight Recorder to record data in an attempt to start tuning. I opened Data Master, file, load data from interface, saved to desktop. The file is saved to my desktop FR1-ro1.dm3

I opened VTune3, selected standard, next, select Master Tune File. I enter FR1-ro1.dm3 from my desktop. It is telling me an invalid file format.

I did update the firmware and TTS software beforehand.

I feel there is something I'm missing, any help would be appreciated.

Can someone recommend a reputable dyno tuner(s) within 4Hrs of eastern NC. This person needs to be experienced with high compression performance engines and TTS.

I have found some but wanted to get the opinions of the folks here also.

Thanks,

Default Back Cylinder EGR Table Question

I've done few data collection runs with VT3 and haven't touched the EGR tables. However, I noticed that the back cylinder EGR data seems to be developing some hilly terrain. Should I be looking for some problem? Is that the effect of not yet having complete VE tables. Graphs attached.
