I would look at the recording you have already made in DataMaster to try and locate your problem. The waiting is because the ECM is telling Vtune the data is NOT usable. The ECM does not tell us WHY ONLY that it is not usable data for Vtune to work.

Well I bumped the VE's 10% and tried again. . .success. Got a good solid tune in. At least I'm on my way now. Thanks everyone. Just need to figure out a better hack way to keep the USB cable from coming undone.

Squeeze the USB connector plug closed a little bit. It will hold better

I used a piece of an old credit card as wedge to hold the USB plug in.

I use to use a rubber band and it worked well. Lay the rubber band down on the table flat, then take you cord and lay it across the rubber band. Take each side of the rubber band up into the air and then slide one side through the middle of the other. This will tie the rubber band around the cable. Now take cable and plug it into the laptop and stretch the open loop of the rubber band around the laptop to pull the cable in the USB slot.

Thanks UltraNutZ,
The engine is untouched (2009 Dyna), the only changes are an aluminum air filter housing with the oval K&N Road King element, and the SPF two into one step pipe.
The selections in the "TTS Delphi Cal Listing" cover a lot of bikes, but in the 176 Dyna listings the cal closest to my configuration is the CAE176-03 MT9, the exhaust is not a match, this cal lists the exhaust as a shorty, but it reflects a stock engine (Note: I screwed up the cal number in my previous post, it should be CAE176-03 not -04, I will edit that).

Best Wishes: Mike

Thanks ultra for the input. My Indys dyno is stingy. I put it in the road the other day and man it pulls!! Last cams I'll need in this bike. Wish I could've gotten 110/90. But I'm thrilled with how it's running. I might eventually run tts autopilot and Vtune to see if it will improve anything....might even take it to another dyno in the future but I'm satisfied with the cams...glad I got em.

Are the clb values in the provided calibration files okay to tune with? Years ago I'd set them to 640 now there's a mix, 580 around cruise up to 622 in the higher rpm.

For those of you who don't want TTS to search through all of your calibrations everytime you open up Master Tune. You can turn it off by going under set up/ options and uncheck "Use File Search Dialog."

For most this wont be a big deal. But tuners that have 6000-7000 files on your computer. It takes time, everytime.

On the other side. This feature will allow you to put in info about your bike and will give you a suggested starting cal.
