the question is: how do you reset the ecm?

 

You can't "Reset" it... It needs to have either the code cleared via Digital Technician II, or 50 start/run cycles or you need to reflash the programming in the ECM.... That is done via DT II, SERT/SEPST/Mastertune....

 

The more info the better. What makes you believe the ECM needs to be reset? Generally the more information you give the more likely someone is to be able to give you an answer.

 

What year? what model? What are you, and why are you trying to reset?
