timing issue
I pulled that round cover located down between and beneath the push rods off my '97 Heritage.I found the timing plate but the hole that I expected to see the timing marks in is only about 1/8" tall and 1/2" long. I keep hearing about a screw in plug to see the timing mark through but there sure is no place for it under that cover. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks in advance for any help, I'm scratching my bald head.
