Default 04 Ultra Blowing Acc Fuse?????

My buddie has an 2004 Ultra/88"/5spd. while we were riding today, his gauges, brake lights, etc quit working, come to find out it was accessory fuse/15amp mini located under kickstand side cover fuse box. replaced it and 5 mins into the ride it blows it again, weve search almost everything, as in bare wires and such. any "ideas" has anyone had this happend?? the bike still runs, starts and all, just the accessories dont work. the fuel gauge/low fuel light did stop working several months ago, would replacing fuel sending unit be a good place to start??
You guys helped me on my ride, hope you can help fix this issue!

It's wiring somewhere. When this happened to me it was the rear brake switch wiring chaffing on the bolt that attaches my exhaust to the transmission bracket. Places to check would include under the rear fender and in switch housings.

another thing to check would be the accessory jack, on my 08 its packed up in front of the battery box make sure the wires are not chaffed.

if you have the manual and locate which fuse it is, it'll help identify what circuit is the problem.

First place I always check is the last place I did some work. If you've had the switch housings off, for example, look for a pinched wire in them.

Sorry for the delay!! but he never found out why the fuse was blowing. instead he replace the fuse with a trip circuit breaker. and to this day I dont think that he has had to reset it. ?? Sorry I couldnt help any more than that. hope you find the issue.
