I have a 1990 FXR. The starter will not engage,when i try to start. The solenoid tries tosuck in but does not go in far enough to contact the posts.I removed the cover and can see the plunger tring to move in.Checked battery voltage,o.k. The starter will work when I manually push in the solenoid plunger. I need help. Thanks.
