Default Used Dynojet Power Commander V

Quick questions. I obtained a used Dynojet Power Commander V unit that came from a 2010 Ultra Classic. It came free with an exhaust system the guy was selling. My understanding is the tuner would have been married to the ECU of the bike it came off of. So wondering if this tuner would be of any use for my 2010 ultra classic or is it a piece of junk now? Can it be unmarried and married to my bike? If it can how does one go about it? Send it to the dynojet company?

Your experience and advise much appreciated.

It doesn’t marry to the bike. Install it on yours and get a tune.

Okay, that is good news.

Bike is already dyno tuned but I will keep the tuner for now.

Power Vision marrys as it reprograms the ECU Power Commander is a piggyback system so doesn't marry.

The Dynojet Power commander V does not marry to a bike like the Power Vision module...Save it and attach it to your bike when you have mods done to it and have it tuned with the PCV...Or not....Do some more research and educate yourself some more on tuning systems on this forum....Very ENLIGHTENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would find out what tune it has. Most likely its exhaust, A/C . If that's the case you can just install it on your bike. Its probably almost the same tune for yours if that's if that's all you did. Save money on a dyno tune. If not install it go get a dyno tune.
