1976 Shovelhead ?electrical? issue, when in gear.
Hi. I am a new rider. I was just given a 1976 Shovelhead.
I rode a bit last summer, no issues. But this season when I brought the bike out, I have this problem.
The bike starts nice, idles, no issues at all. But when I put the bike in gear it acts like the sparkplugs stop firing. If I squeeze the clutch, it runs. Let the clutch out again, and the engine starts to quit again.
Any help or suggestions would be great.
