Default Rear brake light

I seem to have lost my rear brake light ('09 RKC). Front brake light works fine. I have a service manual but it is not much help. I don't want to bleed the rear brake unless absolutely necessary. comments/suggestions??? Thanks!

replace the bulb, may not look burnt, most likely is. no need to bleed brakes if its just the light not coming on and rear braes work. remove baulb get new one. easiest things first

Don't think it is the bulb because it still lights up when I hit the front brake.
