I have a 1992 FXR Low Rider Convertible, I trying to change the headlight, but the headlight housing is full of wires looks like the wiring harness (turn signals ,starter etc) Do I have to have the bike rewired with a aftermarket wiring harness (Ultima, Badlands etc Wiring harness etc etc?)and relocate it some place else, or do someone make a kit to relocated this these wires to another place? Or make a housing to hide and protect the wires behind the new headlight? Thx

 

i know you posted this awhile back,but im in the same boat,did you ever find anything out?i went with a custom made wide triple trees,found a newer style blk power coated headlight bucket,dont really want all those wires and connectors behind the lightbulb,some my wires were melted,and thats began my journey.

 

havin the same issue here on a 86 fxr project.installed a vulcan works wide glide kit and now have a **** load of wiring to stash some place.
