i have a 2006 roadking, took my throttle body off to clean it and when i had everything out, i seen the iac motor was really gummed up so i bought a new one and new intake gaskets, got the bike all back together started it up and after a few minutes it went into a high idle, the bike is idling at about 25 hundred rpms, checked and made sure the intake seals werent leaking, rechecked all the plug connections and everything looks good, i did notice that the idle stop screw it turned out and there is about 3/8 of an inch of thread sticking out where it hits the rocker for the throttle cables, any help would be thankful, wondering if i should try backing down on the idle stop screw.
