Absolutly it works. Different settings alter the kpa at idle. Don't forget about the egr tables and the ability on the 044 calibrations to control idle spark. Can you tell me how the PV records more data than the ecm puts out?

PV writes a new record about every .025 sec with the last data set it saw in the last .025 sec. The widebands happen to send new data for almost every record. Depending on how many fields are being requested/tracked by the PV, the ECU updates the fields at about a rate of .250 sec / record. The PV simply just records the last reported value until the newest updated value shows up. So what you end up with 10 records at one RPM and then the next 10 records show the next reported RPM. Say 15 RPM higher than the last reported RPM.

None of this has any effect on the final tune.

Hope this helps

Found an hd dealer an hour away that actually favors the tts over the screamin eagle units, who woulda thought ha ha. Quoted me $425 for the tts, and $325 for 4-5 hours on the dyno. Said they get the best results with the tts over all else.

Default Found the best price on tuners

Not sure if anyone is interested or looks at this forum any more but I just bought a tuner and cable kit from this guy off ebay and I had it delivered to my house in three days. He included a promotional flyer in with the shipment and he has a website. www.oliscycles.com Tuners are only $349.95 and you get $15.00 off with coupon code OC15

Its the cheapest price I have found- Any one have better luck?
