Street bob running lights not working
Hey guys, I need a little help. I just relocated the fornt turn signals from my handlebars down to the forks. Wired the three wires into the new connectors that came with the relocation kit and plugged them into the factory plugs that were hiding in the neck of the bike.
With everything plugged in, the hazards and blinkers work fine, but the running lights dont work and the fuel gauge doesn't work.
If I unplug one of the lights, the other light comes on, blinkers work and fuel gauge works. AS soon as I plug it back in, the running lights go off and the fuel gauge stops working.
Any ideas? Could the plugs that Harley had in the neck be bad or the wiring to them plugs??
Oh, one thing I noticed, is that when I unplug the one light and the other side running light comes on, it seems really bright.

Make sure you have the colors lined up.......
The 3 wires from the turn signals would be black, blue & violet
Make sure they plug into the correct color of the plug in the neck
The plugs in the neck would be black, blue & blue/orange (R) - blue/pink (L)
So the violet wires from the turn signals go to either blue/orange or blue/pink depending on what side.
If you have any of those wires mixed up then your going to have a bad day.
The blue color wires are easy to get wrong especially if your work light is not good.
