I have an 07 street bob. I was riding to work this morning and as I was about to get to the parking lot, I notices that the engine and battery warning lights came on. The bike was still running fine it seemed. When I pressed the off switch both lights went off and only the normal oil light was on (when the ignition is on but the bike if off). Have not had a chance to go check out the problem yet but any suggestions as to what it might be will be appreciated. thanks.

 

stator,or voltage regulator, bad battery, loose or corroded cables

 

battery or cables would be my guess.

 

Same thing here turned out to be the stator.
