So i searched all over the forum and elsewhere for a solution to my problem and i tried just about everything i could.

Heres the run down.2000 flhtcui

Bike would stutter when rolling steady around 2000
sometimes it would die when i came up to a stoplight, downshifting to neutral it wouldnt hold idle.
so i replaced the crank positioning sensor.
tried to start the bike and the timing seems off.
put the old sensor back in and it was still running like ****.
tried to reset the ecm. no luck
tried the tsm password reset twice. nothing
when i go to pull diagnostic codes it displays a fast flashing code of like 15 flashes over and over. i have a video of the engine codes i will try to post. any help would be appreciated before i have to put it on a trailer and bring it to the hundred dollar dealership.

Try cleaning the air bleeds. Take air filter off and look inside the intake at the 10 and 2 position. One tiny hole in each position. Spray with a carb cleaner ( I use SeaFoam in a squirt bottle). Sounds like that or maybe IAC motor (you can clean it also but don't use carb cleaner, maybe a MAP sensor cleaner).

Dont those have a cam sensor also? Might be worth a shot. Looks like 15 flashes is incorrect password.

I will look into the air bleeds. As far as the trouble code it's flashing very fast about 15 times. From my understanding for a code of 15 I would get 1 flash a pause and then 5 flashes. Like most obd systems. Thanks guys.

This is a injected bike, right? What "air bleeds" are we talking about here?

In the MM intake at the 10 and 2 position.

what is the IAC motor, it also runs rich and backfires through the throttle body when i try to start it. it wont stay running unless i put throttle to it. to me it seems like a timing issue, i will try the cam sensor next.

It controls the amount of air that enters the throttle body to maintain idle and act as a choke when cold. IAC= Idle Air Controller.

Just recently added a S&S VFI module to my '97. I can attest to the fact if your TPS voltage is not spot on it will exhibit all manner of oddities...this is the baseline from which all calculations are made by the ecu.
