Will changing the engine battery on a 2007 Sportster 883 affect the security system. Will it have to be reset or reprogrammed? Also, is there an easy way to eliminate the security system all together other than leaving the key fob under the seat?

 

1 No it will not affect the security system
2 No it does not need to be reprogrammed
3 Yes you can switch it off on the tourers so I would assume you can on yours
4 Why the heck would you want to eliminate your security system???????????
