Question What to do when a Tuning Configuration File does not match...

Ok, so the user manual is not the best and first time user of SE Super Tuner II makes matters worse. Hooked up the tuner on this bike I purchases used and off VCI see the following

Configuration: 1550 High Output
SE air Cleaner and Breather Kit
SE 1550 Big Bore
SE High Compression Forged Pistons
SE 257 Cam
SE Performance Tuning Mufflers

I want to change the White Brothers E Series to something quieter have a set of SE slips ons and stock pipes but see no configuration or way to change just pipes?

Think I need a seasoned expert before I flash anything!

Am I missing something simple to change in the tuner tool box or something?

Ok so answer me this what to do with this tuner? It has the high output 1550 config loaded I am going to a more restrictive exhaust OEM or SE and there is not a configuration (saved available) that matches. So what do I do leave same loaded? How do I adjust for the restricted exhaust?

BTW I just don't want to damage the bike I don't need super performance I am a low RPM rider looking for lower end torque versus high performance. So I assume reducing air flow the bike will run rich? Is that acceptable?

Does your bike have cams and whats listed? not sure what you are asking..if the engine is built up then you will need to adjust the mixture. there are no base maps for that. If this is a used unit then I don't think that it will work on your bike. They are married to the first bike they are installed on.

Bike has had modifications mentioned I am just changing pipes to more restrictive quieter pair versus two into one White Brothers. SE Pro Tuner was new with the bike I installed software and read cofig from VCI paired for life... Ok, so no packaged configuration will need to adjust or lean mixture the hard way no "easy tune" which I was dreading. I will follow instructions to "record" data on a ride and post the results if possible for advice on where and how much to adjust.

Any Richmond area forum members who have experience and can help contact me. Will try to post saved/recorded run.

Are you describing the calibration or the actual engine configuration?

You can change the mufflers you can likely use the same calibration but you'll want to go through the Smart Tune process.
