Default harley ecm

Hi all, is it possible to have an ecm from one bike reprogrammed with the vin and map for another bike, thanks for any replies

I am not quite sure I follow your question, like what fuel tuning device you are thinking about, but I know that with the Power Vision fuel tuner, the map that you chose from Dyna Jet does not have to a perfect match at all. In my case, the map sent to me is a Switchback instead of Fat Bob, and the exhaust does not match either - and my bike runs great and will run better still as I continue autotuning.

Let me add on, you will need some kind of fuel tuner to reflash your ECM, like a Power Vision, or SEPRT or even a Harly Dealership can reflash your ECM with a Stage 1 map. The Power Vision and I think the SEPRT have ability to flash from a large "library" of fuel tunes. It always a good idea to pick a fuel map that comes from a bike that is set up as close as possible to your own.
