harley or aftermarket battery
I'm about to have to replace the battery in my 07 Ultra for the first time. I've heard pros and cons of buying an aftermarket battery from, say, an auto parts dealer, for instance, as opposed to a Harley battery.
What is the forum's experience?
Thanks in advance.

The #1 Choice in High Power Batteries for Motorcyles

They are expensive, but the are lightweight, free up a bunch of space, have a 3 Year Warranty, and you'll like how they work.

Best advice I can offer is to buy a good battery and a charger with an auto de-sulfate mode and check acid level and use only distilled water to top-off.
I have batteries over 9 years old that operate properly and bench-test fine.
I have 9 vehicles and equipment that have lead-acid batteries and while the cost is high for the charger the long term savings pay for themselves.
I do not have experience with the li batteries DK sells, but they interest me.
I'm trying to decide if the cost (battery and charger) is worth it to me.

I have slowly converted all my vehicles to interstate as they perform and are available locally.
