I own a 2011 Ultra Classic Electra Glide. Someone suggested that I periodically add a product called Marvel Mystery Oil to my gasoline (2oz per 5 gallons of gas). He claims it will keep the fuel injectors cleans and help improve gas mileage. I was wondering if anyone uses this product and more importantly if I did use it, would it cause any damage to the fuel injection system/engine.

I doubt it would hurt anything but I would use a product called sea foam that's specifically made for cleaning fuel systems and carbon deposits

 

I've been using it for years and find that one ounce is plenty under normal conditions. Over the years they have changed the formula but it still does the trick.

I don't add anything. Just buy non ethanol premium. I used to use Seafoam in my Vulcan 750, but needed to get my carbs rebuilt, so stayed away from it after that.
