I just replaced the stator & voltage regulator on my 2001 Electra Glide with the Cycle Electric 3 phase 50 amp system. On the first ride after replacing charging system when I stop the bike it shuts off. Lights and all electrical shuts off. You can turn ignition switch off and then back on and it will start. I had to do this several times to get out of the road. I disconnected battery for a couple of minutes. Bike runs fine till you stop again, then the electrical system shuts down completely. Has anybody out there run into this before? I replaced the Harley system with the cycle electric system because I ride year round and use heated gear in the winter. Been thru 3 Harley stators in 3 years.
