Should idle but shuts down

Should idle but shuts down
I have an '07 Deuce and for some apparent reason it has suddenly decided to not want to idle when coming to a stop situation.
When I start it, it idles fine and all is well. I ride (maybe only 5 or 10 miles) and when I go to stop (be it at an intersection or wherever), if I don't keep enough revs up, it dies. It fires straight back up again with no problem, but will not idle.
This has only recently happened (within the last month or so) and as far as I can think of, nothing out of the ordinary has taken place - same gas , same gas stations, same everything.
Any ideas?
