I got a brother that has a 02 Dyna Super Sport.
It has a security system on it but he never uses it.
The other day he went to start it and no power to the headlight no turn signal blink no turn over nothing.
replaced the battery in the bike and still no power!
Does the security system activate on its own if the battery looses power?
what to check where to start?

 

The factory security system on an 02 is manually activated. Start looking for bad connections in the main battery power and ground cables. You also should look at the ignition switch and any relays or circuit breakers (or fuses) on the bike.

 

Replaced fob battery still nothing.
