Hey Guys, I have a 98 Fatboy stage 1, V&H longshots with 26k miles, usually during a cold start (outside temp has no effect) it grinds and sometimes a puff of smoke comes up from the air cleaner. After I have started it that first time of the day it doesn't do anymore until the next time I start it for the first time the next day.

I really can't seem to find out why. Someone once told me I may need a screaming eagle compensator or check the clutch disk. I just replace all fluids and everything seems to be in good working order.

BTW Ive had the bike for two years and got it with 12,500 miles so it has not been sitting for extended periods of time.
