running like crap with fuelpak after ape install NO CODES
#11
Thank you. Did that, goes from 0-99. Problem still is getting on it like trying to pass someone, or taking off, it boggs, like something is holding it back (fuel). Going to call v&h tech and see if they can give me some different numbers. I know guys are saying to get other fuel mgmt system like pcv but it irritates me that it wasn't doing this before. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.

Thanks, dont know, just got it back Friday. They said they took bars all apart, respliced, heatshrinked, all connections. I told them besides the bogg, I couldn't get it up to 90 wide open. Owner and mechanic both took test rides, mech said he went over 105. I tried again. and got to about 93, but took forever to get there (open road). I do not need to go that fast, but I know that motor can. But I do need the torque for passing, besides, like all of us, want it to run right. Thanks....will report back when we get to bottom of it. I had carlini evil apes put on, and they were thinking that maybe there might be a burr inside bars. They tried to rout it out before reinstalling They say they have never had this problem before. Just telling yall what they have been telling me. They are a good bunch of guys, and are going to stay on it till solved on their dime.

UPDATE. couldn't figure out what the hell problem was. Took fuel pak off. Bike ran like a beast. I know my O.P. about PCV. I just cant understand why it just quit working after ape install. All I put on it was S.E. breather, true duals and slips. Ran fine for 2 years. Like crap after apes. No codes, no check engine, ive read about some saying in stage 1, programmer not necessary. Anyone care to chime in?
