Default FLHX cigarette lighter fuse

Anyone know which fuse belongs to the cigarette lighter and if it's on it's own circuit? I am thinking of tapping into this for hardwiring my gps and I just want to make sure it is alone...

Thanks

I bought a marine grade cigarette lighter adapter online and wired that to the GPS. I'll sent you info if interested. Easy on/easy off.

Not sure what model of GPS you have but most of the wiring harness for GPS have it's own fuse built into it. If you don't have the one with the fuse you can pick them up pretty cheap.

Looked it up in my 06 Touring Manual and the power is coming off of the 15 amp 'Accessories' fuse. It's going to all kinds of things, tach, speedo, handlebars, etc. What a surprise, would of thought it would be a stand alone. Your still probably ok to use it for you GPS. Just put an inline fuse rated for your unit in the circuit. I plugged my new 'Slime' tire pump into the lighter socket to make sure it worked and had no trouble.
