Do you have a clog in your fuel line below the tank?

Well a couple of things.

Is your valve defective where you turn the fuel off and on?

Have you had the tank off?

Have you looked in the tank and through the rubber fuel line to see if anything is in it?

Lastly, how did you come around to this issue. Bike just stop running or were you doing something to it?

I got this bike because a friend was going to loose it to impound. It had been dumped so I had it painted. It ran when I took the tank off. When I got it back together the fuel pump didn't work. So I replaced it it's working fine. But it's still not getting fuel to the injectors.?.....

You have the 2004 FXSTBI (last letter I is for injection) I have both the service and electrical diagnostic manuals and may be able to help. So when you key on, you hear fuel pump run 3 seconds powered by timer in the system relay?

Gotcha, can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the switch on?

If you don't hear it, then check your fuses. If none are blown, then I would suspect a bad fuel pump.

If you do hear it and you have gas in the tank, then there is a blockage somewhere between the fuel tank and he injectors.
