Default Power Vision "Speedometer calibration" question.

Hi all.

I got a Power Vision unit and wanna load a proper map into my 2010 FXDWG.
In the PV software there is a "Speedometer calibration" parameter that depends on the tyre size.
The value in the canned map is 2150.
Since the Wide Glide (unlike the other Dynas) has a 21" tire, is this value (2150) correct?
Thank you.

I have no idea what the answer to your question is but I do know the speedometer does not work off the front wheel. I have an 06 Dyna and a friend has a 10 Ultra Classic and in both cases the speedometer gets its reading from a censor on 4th gear. So I would guess it's the rear tire your PV is referring to as that is part of the final drive formula.

Its probably set the same for all HD bikes but of course you can change it. Look at a mounted GPS or a mounted cell phone and check the speeds with your bike.

My SGS was 5mph faster than actual so I had to bring that value up 100 to 2250 to make it read REAL ACTUAL speed

2300 brought the speedometer on my CVO Ultra to match the GPS.
