It's cool Mike...at least you made it here. And Thanks for the kind words. Sorry to know that you've lost so many family members.

Thanks. I know seeing her slowly fade away like she did after a stroke in May and early August was the worst.

I'm so sorry for your loss, man. Lost mine to cancer in 2000...tough to watch them go through that. I'm glad you got to take her for a ride, and I'm sure she was, too.
She's always with you.

Thanks Cheese...seeing her after her last stroke was difficult to watch. She tried to talk but couldn't. But she did smile when she saw us. Like my wife said, that made the visit for us.

Well, I know the feeling and I sympathize with you. My Dad would have turned 90yrs. old this past Sept. He passed away last year shortly before his birthday. I wake at night sometimes thinking of him and can't go back to sleep. I have to turn on the TV to forget in order to fall asleep again. Little by little, day by day it gets easier for me to accept that he's gone. I still miss him alot. I think our parents would want Us to be strong and carry on.

Thanks. I have a picture of my mom and dad that was taken on the day they were married, with him in his Marine uniform. Both just smiling as big as they can. So they're both always present in my heart and mind.
