This is something of an awkward post, but I was one of the witnesses on the scene of Mr. Shamer's accident, and just wanted you to know he wasn't alone when he passed. There were several folks who stopped, I tried to keep talking to him and was trying to hold his hand, and two other folks prayed for him. I was real shook up when the medics arrived and told us he didn't make it, I really hoped and prayed that he was going to be okay.

It's a real tragedy and I'm terribly sorry for your loss.

I worked so hard to get that bike. Road worthy everything just right.
Dreams, magazines, folded pages, busted knuckles, smiles and rages.
Piece by piece and going through the stages.
Feel the wind, in a good mood. Taken my time to enjoy my ride.
Feel the rumble its not a muffle. With a smile I can't hide, she's
definitely my pride.
For now, my dreams, magazines and folded pages will have
stars for the extras on my baby. Busted knuckles and rages
are replaced with smiles, nods, and waves. Its all on stall, enjoying
the high of it all.
To ride on that wintery day, temperature 67' who knew it was my time
for heaven.

Hi Sherrie, I am sorry I didn't see this sooner, I have been traveling a lot in my job and actually accepted a new job in Texas which I will be starting in a few weeks, but if you still want to meet, I will be happy to do so. I am here in the area until about April 18th or so.
