Stock chain length for almost all IronHeads is 106 links. Works for my 1978; also worked for my 1980. Regardless of sprocket size - 51T rear, 21, 22, or 23 front.
Many others share this experience but some have had to use other sizes. I buy oversize as i usually cannot get exactly106, then trim it down to 106.
