I've been using Autolites in my shovel since the first time they were changed out in '82.
No problems ever, I remember guys using champions having problems, but usually if you have plug problems it's an indication of other issues.

Default HD plugs

I'm prolly ganna have to try em! I DROVE THE **** outta my ol' 4x4 toyota sr5 pickup for the better part of 13 years and honestly you couldn't kill the damn thing! Ran like a top all the way up to the day I sold it (just last year @ 249,999 miles on it) only thing I ever replaced on it was the U joint & two front shocks. Wish I had never sold that truck...

Denso / Toyota makes Accel plugs while Champion makes HD factory plugs. Plugs
pictured are short reach - must be an old Harley - while long reach plugs Denso
makes are the same length as HD. I use Denso - dual ground electrode platinum.

If I do this real quick I may beat Pinion to it! The key thing is to have a plug that is not too long and gets hit by a piston and that it is the proper heat range.......... hot enough to stay half way clean, but not so hot that it burns away or causes detonation. Right Pinion?

Have used all the plugs mentioned and never had a problem with any of them.
Generally use Autolites or NGK.

I know I have had outstanding results with NGK in all my 2 strokes. Boat, jetski, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, atv's. I've run NGK's in my last 3 Harleys with no problem. 2 twin cams and 1 EVO. I'll probally run them in the Ironhead too.
