Talking hello and Thanks! !!

Hello to all! Been a while since I've logged on. Been working some serious overtime( Woohoo may get to start on that '73 xlch with the aftermarket frame soon!) And the little lady had neck surgery, so that has diverted me from writing and riding Much. I have recently gotten last years project out and been able to ride her to work etc. I've dialed in a start procedure that seems to work every time! She runs great! So great that I trust her for the drive to and from work on 12 hour days! First kick with the ignition on and she fires up every time!!! I was VERY apprehensive about building a ch for fear of the kick start, but have grown fond of it! It's fun to jump on that pedal and hear her fire and bark to life! And the looks I get! Ha ha ha! The looks are entertaining to say the least! This was all possible because of the help I received HERE! !! Pinion, Mick, EVERYONE!!! thank you for making my first build an enjoyable and truly rewarding experience! !! Happy riding! I may have to blow off work to enjoy the sunny 80 degree Friday afternoon! Lol!

Sounds like you have the scooter dialed in perfect!
Temps in the eighties? Man, that sounds good. Here in Texas right now it gets into the eighties around midnight.
During the day it feels like 150° sitting on top of the bike at a red light.

That's OK because I will be thinking of you come November when we get into the eighties during the day and you have the white stuff flying!

Enjoy the riding and thanks for the report on your machine. I love to hear of yet another IH rolling smoothly down the highway.

Hey hey hey! No talk of the white stuff! !! Lol!

Seriously though, that was REALLY a fun project and IMO ironheads are THEE true essence of what blue blooded American motorcycling is all about! Simple functional fun with a bit of enginuity creativity and mechanical ability required. Posers need not apply! LOL!
