Hey all,
I got a new tractor battery for the 74' XLH last month. It is not the new fangled GM type. I had the bike over at the kid's house bout 25 miles from home. Stuck the new battery in and rode it home without putting the battery cover on. Got rid of the old battery of course. I went to put the tender on it yesterday and low and behold I was missing the end filler cap. Shoulda checked the caps after charging but didn't. Anybody know where I can get a cap? Any ideas? Getting old sucks. I forget **** all of the time.

 

Go to a Battery store and see if they have one from a core

 

I would think that any shop would have some kicking around. Hope you get one easily!

 

Forgetting is ok sometimes, sometimes NOT.
A guy walks in to a bar and sits on a stool and greets the person next to him
After a short time a short conversation begins followed by some drinks
A while later the gentleman that was at the bar said good night then proceeded to get up to leave
In a matter of seconds he found himself on the floor
The guy next to him helped him up back to his stool, then offered if he could help any further
The guy said no am really ok, good night then falls again
He’s pride takes over now and he refuses help, I have to do this myself so I learn my lesson he says, then proceeds to crawl out of the bar refusing help
A few minutes later the bartender returns from the rear of the bar, sees the guy struggling out the door and runs after him, sir, sir!! Can I bring your wheelchair, sir you forgot your wheelchair!!!
