Hi all. I am working on 2 bikes. One is a 55 k model, the other is a 63 xlr racer. I am having some wheel issues. On the k model is the aluminum akront style rims. On the xlr i have drop center rims. The xlr has the full brake drum same as a mid 60's sportster. The k model has the half drum. I want to swap the aluminum rims over to the xlr where they should be. However, my question is this........ can i put the full drum into the half drum aluminum rim? Would there be an issue with spoke angle? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

no problem with putting the k model 1/2 drum on the 68 wheel--that's what I run
