Ok and here is some updated work on the project

so here is the back fender work.. the stock ironhead fender no longer fit since lowering it and had to move to a wider dyna glide fender

had to weld closed the holes..

thought long and hard and did not want to fill all that with that much filler and bondo so flush welded it and next to smooth it out for paint

The seat mount hols will get these in them for a little added touch when all painting is done

Right now the bike is up on the jack working on all the wiring and have to find some guidance in wiring led with flashers to blink without having to press and release and press again etc...

I don't usually like whitewalls, but i do like those on your bike.

The last pic is my favorite. My least favorite it the red rocker covers.

At first i liked the red wheels but i would soon tire of it - too bright/dramatic for me.

I like also the black pipe wrap.

The air cleaner does get in the way if I use my highway cruising pegs but I like to keep my feet by the controls so should be ok.

I do like those K...n air cleaners. First thing I bought for my first Sportster a dozen years ago - a 1998.

Yeah I like them too I can't wait to get it done. Hopefully this winter and see the flaps on the intake move with the throttle. Going to make the flaps red. and the circle in the middle will be flat black to match the bike. Once it cools down in Arizona I can paint again. To hot for me to work in the garage.
