Default AC Clutch keeps slipping.

I have a late 84 sporty and the clutch keeps slipping. I have replaced the main clutch bearing, pressure plate and disks. Before doing all this i just did a disk change and got rid of the spring plate. Replaced it with two steels and it ran fine for a while...then started slipping. Then piece by piece i started to replace what i figured would be causing it to slip. It still slipping. So i pulled the tranny out today to just take a look and noticed the slots on second gear which face the clutch gear are worn pretty bad...would this be the cause of it slipping?? Please help? Im an everyday rider and havnt been able to ride my Sporty in over two months.

when you take the center spring disc out the correct replacement is to add two steels with a clutch disc in between them NOT leave the one clutch disc out

I tried that and the stack was one too high...i asked a bunch of lifetime harley techs about it and they said two steels would be fine. So i did that and it worked ood. It lasted about 5 months and then it suddenly started slipping. Now i did the same thing but replaced all disks with newer upgraded kevlar disks and its still slipping.

somthing is not right with it and it could be how the adjustment was done

the cable has to be loose and the last thing to set is the lever just a heads up
