Picking up s 1974 XLCH tomorrow! I went to check it out today, and will ride it home tomorrow! I have only done routine maintenance on my UC, so I am really getting in deep with this one. After checking out this part if the forums though, I feel more confident...get ready for tons of questions.

That does suck, I'd be dying too! My 2nd bike was a 900 and probably around a '65ish, yes I am old . I'd love to find one in a basket and go crazy with it. So I'll be parked on this thread.

Very cool! Those stock pipes and mufflers are hard to come by, so don't trash 'em.
