My thoughts exactly. The plate is stamped USA if you look closely but what does this mean? The steel is from the US but it is assembled / fabricated in China???? I may switch gears............huh, a pun........and go to plates with no buffers. A shame really, that our manufacturing base has departed so far from the quality of old.
