Who is using Long Ride Shields?

8" Ultra on an '09 ElectraGlide, low tint.
A little frustrated since the measuring is a little different than the stock 6" and I have to sight through an oval of about 5 sq in because of the distortion. Won't ride at night, too dangerous. My bad.
Saw the latest "56 days to spring" and ordered a 6" Ultra. I'm sure it will be much better for my riding style.

I have the clear Ultra Shield For Reckless Fairings in 7". The shield does a great job of keeping the helmet buffeting down and I really like the looks of a lower height shield.
I had read that the clear shield had cloudiness to it before I ordered and mine is cloudy also. Is this because the 7" basically has a recurve throughout the entire shield or the materials used? I had a clear HD shield on previous and it was like looking through glass.
I really like the shield and the cloudiness does not present a problem at all as I look above it now as through the HD one before.
Just curious.
