Polaris did not make the 1st American motorcycle, If I change my name to Chuck Norris does that make me a bad ***. The new Indian is what it is, but the Indian motor company went out of biz in 1953. Im glad to see you are making parts for the New Indian but your title is way off. one mans opinion.

Then Harley Davidson went out of business in 1969?

You can say what you want about the Indian but IMO that engine is a work of art.

The first american motorcycle was made by Sylvester h. Roper. In 1867 or so. Ran on steam. Had no windshield.
