Try the peroxide and water some time. Does the same thing in a matter of seconds, no waiting, without having to even touch and potentially scratch the shield! I also used the warm water towel method until someone turned me on to this!

+1 on the water and peroxide. Mix hydrogen peroxide and water mixed half and half. Works like magic.
