Default We're Back

We rolled back into the shop yesterday afternoon just after 2 and talk about being exhausted. We arrived in Panama City Beach late Tuesday night around 8:30 PM and headed over to Club La Vela to see if we could drop the trailer. We got our spot location and dropped the trailer. We were setup between Hot Leathers and J&P Cycle. I was heart broken when I dropped the read door of the trailer down to get the bikes out. The VTX had broke loose and fell over into my Street Glide with the VTX's handle bars hitting my gas tank leaving a big nasty wound on the side of it and taking off a good bit of paint. Luckily that was the only damage but it was enough.

Wed we got the awning up and got everything set up to operate first thing Thursday so we took off on a little ride. Ended up at Magaritaville for some cold beverages and a bite to eat.

Thur, Fri and Saturday we were wide open from 9 AM till we closed down everyday which is good and actually on Saturday we started running out of supplies. I based the required supplies off the Sturgis trip and to be safe I figured 2 seats extra a day and by 5:30 Saturday we ran out and ended up having to shut down the seat modifications then.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by to see us and everyone who had their seats worked on. We had a great time and look forward to next years events. This was our last rally for this year. We are moving into a larger location that is on Main Street in Maiden and this is going to take up a lot of time getting everything set up and running there. I am not sure what will be the first rally for next year right now but I am shooting for Daytona but that will depend on if we can get a resonabley priced spot in a decent location. You would think that the vendor spots have gold in them by the way they price them.

While I was waiting for my seat to get done, I spent some time in downtown Maiden. It's a nice place.

Anyway, I stopped in a second hand store on Main Street. I don't remember the name, but it had a sign on the door saying 'The witch is in'. The proprietor mentioned that the empty building across the street had been rented and she was very happy

Thought you might like to know.

Steve

PS - Thanks for the work on the seat
