Where not to live:
It's hotter than hell here. Everything that moves bites or stings. Fire ants, scorpions, rattlesnakes, I could go on and on. You have to mow grass twice a day if you can get it to grow. Chances are the cactus will choke it out though.
I wouldn't recommend the Texas Hill Country to anyone. If you're not born here it takes at least 10 years of scars to grow a hide thick enough to just get by.
The sun's always in your eyes which are already full of sweat. Then there is that nasty sweet tea that everyone drinks.
They used to have me driving the Welcome Wagon till that time I got it stuck in the ditch.

weather is one thing….dealing with all of the idiots is another….myself, I’m finding riding out here less enjoyable and more of a chore….I guess it all depends on how much one can tolerate….when we go to other states, traffic can be bad and it’s alright….tolerable….we don’t mind…out here, I guess it’s just the vibe….
